The many impacts alcohol abuse can have on a person's life.
I know what is below is stating the obvious but I still think it is very important for anyone with a drinking problem to know and AND remember. It is so sad and such a shame when any person abuses alcohol for a long period of time; to drink too much too often and to have one's drinking cause problems in his or her life. Alcohol abuse can cause a person who could be happily married to become divorced and lonely and unhappy. Alcohol abuse can cause a person who who could have a good relationship with their kids to become a person whose kids don't want to know him or her. Alcohol abuse can cause a person who could be employed and financially secure to someone who is unemployed and broke. Alcohol abuse can cause a person who could have no criminal record to be a person who breaks the law, gets charged and convicted of various offenses and maybe end up in long term rehab to avoid jail or just eventually end up in jail.
