The profile of mass shooters in the USA

That show "Planet America" was on TV yesterday. They were giving such interesting statistics on guns and gun violence in the USA since 1966, 52 years ago.

The statistics they presented that stuck in my mind were:

Off all mass shooters in the USA since 1966:

98% were male.

Only 4% of them had ever received a diagnosis of a major, serious mental illness like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia etc.

But almost 90% had a history of violence towards women or a history of domestic violence in general.
